Icarus

    I was going through my pictures when I found this:

    I don't know when I took it. A small airplane in the vastness of the blue sky. Sometime last fall, when I was going to sleep, a sentence came to mind. "I was drowning in sky, and like Icarus, I fell." I'm going to use it in my book someday! I've never "written" anything like this before.

    This picture reminded of the phrase. Every time I look at the sky, I get lost. It seems so close, yet so far. So deep, you get lost. It's easy for thoughts to run rampant, for worries to disappear, and to, eventually, become still. Quiet.
